Owen G. Fiore, JD, is an outstanding and experienced tax educator, having presented seminars and courses for over 35 years to CPAs, Enrolled Agents, Financial Planners and attorneys, as well as to CEOs of business organizations, such as the Young President’s Organization (YPO). His presentations are based on over 40 years of experience as a California tax and estate planning lawyer, including having represented clients in U.S. Tax Court regarding tax and estate planning issues. Owen has written extensively on tax subjects, especially regarding the use of entities and valuation strategies in planning. He presently focuses his efforts as a non-lawyer consultant on family wealth planning for clients and their professional advisors. Over his career, Mr. Fiore has been a faculty member of many national and regional tax institutes and conferences, including the NYU Institute on Federal Taxation, the Notre Dame Tax & Estate Planning Institute, the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning, the Southern California Tax & Estate Planning Forum, as well as various AICPA conferences on tax planning and valuation.
